Dummy Security Camera, Fake CCTV Dome Camera with Red LED Light, 2 Pack

The Fake Camera, Fakes Security Camera Outdoors is a pack of two dummy dome security cameras designed to give the appearance of a real surveillance system. They come with flashing red LED lights that give a realistic look, and they are suitable for both home and business use. Mounting the cameras is relatively easy, requiring the drilling of two holes and the use of screws and plastic wall anchors. The cameras can be hidden under the eave or placed in a protected space like a garage or warehouse. Although the housing is reasonably water-resistant, it is not designed to withstand immersion. The batteries in the cameras last for about three months, depending on usage. The LED lights blink every couple of seconds, giving the impression of an active surveillance system. However, some customers have reported that the blinking light is only visible when standing directly behind the camera. The diameter of the base of the camera is smaller than expected, around 5 inches according to one customer's estimate. This size should be sufficient for most installations. One customer mentioned using these cameras in a classroom setting to deter misbehaving students. The presence of the cameras seemed to have a positive impact on their behavior, making the purchase worthwhile. Overall, the Fake Camera, Fakes Security Camera Outdoors has received mixed reviews. While some customers find them impressive and effective, others have found them to be of poor quality and have experienced short battery life.
