Adjust the height of the trolley to match the hospital bed or operating table (the drop should not exceed 15cm). Position the trolley close to the bed with one person on each side. 2. When transferring the patient from the bed to the cart, one person should support the patient's shoulders and buttocks with both hands, gently moving the patient to the side by about 30°.

The person on the other side can then easily slide the transfer board under the patient's body. 3. At the desired halfway point (approximately 3/4), the person supporting the patient's shoulders and hips should increase the angle to about 45° and push forward slowly, first upwards, then gently forwards. The person on the other side should also support and pull the patient's shoulders and buttocks. 4.

Once the patient is completely over the bed and onto the cart, there is no need to remove the overbed on the cart. Simply raise the guardrails on both sides of the cart to ensure the patient's safety during transportation to another bed or table.
