Hagen D29 Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The 3 Pack of Oyster Shells by Hagen has garnered a generally positive reception among bird owners, particularly those with small birds such as quail, bantams, and doves. Users express a particular appreciation for the product's fine grind, which is ideal for smaller birds that require easily digestible calcium sources for strong eggshells and overall health. Many reviewers reported favorable results when switching from other brands to Hagen's crushed oyster shell, noting how their birds preferred it over coarser alternatives. One user conducted a thorough test by comparing different oyster shell brands and concluded that the Hagen product Consistently stood out, along with another premium brand. The importance of good quality oyster shell for preventing health issues in poultry is a recurring theme in the feedback, with several users willing to pay a premium for a product that ensures their birds receive adequate calcium. While most reviewers are satisfied with the effectiveness of the product, some raised concerns about the packaging, noting that sometimes the boxes were not well sealed and contents leaked during shipping. However, this did not seem to overshadow the overall satisfaction with the product's quality and the benefits it provided for small birds. In summary, Hagen's oyster shells are highly valued for their quality and suitability for small avian species, with many customers committed to purchasing them again, despite the occasional issue with packaging. ### Pros and Cons **
