8Bitdo Controllers 80ND Editorial Review
The 8Bitdo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller has garnered a variety of responses from users, showcasing a blend of strong functionality and some notable concerns. Many users commend the controller's comfort and the fun design, especially the vibrant color options. Customers appreciate its seamless compatibility with Steam and the ability to quickly wake their PCs from sleep mode, allowing for a smooth gaming experience right from the couch. Several gamers who have used the controller for an extended period have expressed their satisfaction, claiming it rivals higher-end options like the Xbox Elite controller. The customizable features, such as adjustable triggers and easy button remapping, receive praise, as does the performance of the D-Pad. However, a few users have raised issues about build quality, citing durability concerns with the triggers and analog sticks. Some have experienced mechanical failures after just a few months of usage, indicating potential long-term reliability issues. Another area of feedback centers around the controller's software for creating macros, which some find lacking in terms of user-friendliness. This has led to frustration among those looking for more intuitive options for programming button combinations. Overall, while the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller impresses many with its performance, comfort, and features, it has drawn criticism related to durability and its software interface. **
