Are these gloves puncture-proof?
Answer: No, they are only needle-resistant. -
Question:
Can these gloves be used with tasers or firearms?
Answer: No, it is not recommended. -
Question:
What is the level of needlestick resistance?
Answer: Level 2 on the palm and Level 3 on the fingertips. -
Question:
Has anyone tested if these gloves are actually needle puncture resistant?
Answer: These gloves have been tested using a 25 gauge needle in accordance with the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard. The interior glove layer offers ANSI/ISEA level 3 needlestick protection on the fingertips, and ANSI/ISEA level 2 needlestick protection on the palms (on a 1-5 scale). -
Question:
Are these puncture resistant on the fingers too? Or just the palm?
Answer: The protection is palm side only. That does include the fingers but that is just the palm side of the fingers. There is NO protection on the back of the hand. -
Question:
How long do this glove last? Do grip wear out after use it repeative?
Answer: These gloves feel very heavy duty. I anticipate they will last a year or more with frequent use. -
Question:
Can you feel items on people for patdowns?
Answer: In the 4045, there is one layer of super fabric which gives you protection without restricting your dexterity and still allows you to feel what your patting down. -
Question:
Do you have gloves that protect the entire fingers, palm, and top of hand from hypodermic needles?
Answer: Our PointGuard® Ultra 4043 would be a glove that has that coverage. It has 3 layers of our SuperFabric® on the palm and 2 layers of SuperFabric® on the back of hand.
