    Answer: Not fitted like shown in the picture. I had to make mine work.

    Answer: Great question! I'm not super familiar with sugar gliders, I would imagine if you had a mat on both top and bottom it may work 

    Answer: Make sure you read description well I thought I was getting this whole thing and only got the bottom mat. So cannot answer bar spacing.

    Answer: From what I know of sugar gliders, no. Sugar gliders are very small and can squeeze through the bars and this is open on the top, they will get out. This is more for rabbits, ferrets, puppies...etc....sorry
