Liquitex Paint Primers & Sealers 5332 Editorial Review
Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 3.78L (128-oz), Super Heavy is a top choice for artists who emphasize the importance of a solid foundation in their artwork. This acrylic gesso features a thick, creamy texture that provides excellent coverage and a matte finish, perfect for various surfaces including metal, wood, and plastic. Users report great adhesion of acrylic paints, allowing colors to appear vibrant and true due to the added tooth it offers. Furthermore, its non-toxic formulation makes it a safe option for all artists. Although the gesso is superb for priming, it does not completely cover underlying pencil sketches, so careful planning is encouraged for the desired artistic effect.
