Answer: We put one on a 1987 3.0 with no problems. I don't know about '88. -

Will this fit a 1997 sea ray 175 3.0 mercruiser?
Answer: The engine i fitted this pump on was an earlier model. Check the maintenance book for fit up. The mounting flange was changed on the post 1990 engines. Check the engine serial number and call the Sierra Help line. -

Answer: I'm not sure about your year but it fit exactly on my 1987 mercruiser 4 cyl. Easy installation. The picture looked exactly like mine so I took a chance and was successful. The close years,it might be the same. Good luck. -

Will this work on a 1999 mercruiser 3.0 (Byliner Capri 1850) ?
Answer: Check the s/n of your engine, this probably will fit, there are two fuel pumps for the 3.0 litre engines, compare the picture of it with the one on your boat. I had to return it because the lever was meant for the newer engines, not my 85 engine. -

Answer: There are probably 20+ models for the Mercruiser 2004 3.0. I checked a few of them and they did cross back to this fuel pump in question. Thanks, Kelly -

Answer: I am not sure about a 2000, we have a '98 3.0 mercruiser. We got the part number that we needed from our boat dealer.
