Colonial Needle 20 Count Richard Hemming Between Quilting Needles, Size 8

The Colonial Needle 20 Count Richard Hemming Between Quilting Needles, Size 8 has garnered mixed reviews from customers, highlighting a notable disparity in experiences related to the quality and design of these needles compared to older versions. Many users appreciate the functionality of the needles, specifically praising their ease of threading and sharpness, making them a practical choice for quilters and garment sewists alike. The compact size of 1 1/8" is particularly noted for allowing precise stitching, enhancing the quilting experience. However, a significant number of customers express disappointment regarding the inConsistency in quality compared to the older Colonial Between size 8 needles they have used in the past. Some reviewers note that these new needles seem thinner and more prone to bending, which diminishes their effectiveness for certain quilting tasks. Additionally, the revelation that the manufacturing of these needles has shifted from England to China has raised concerns over quality control and craftsmanship, with some customers feeling that the new design features, such as elongated eyes, negatively impact performance. In summary, while the Colonial Needle Hemming Between Quilting Needles have advantages like easy threading and sharpness, they may not fully satisfy veterans of quilting who are comparing them to older, sturdier iterations of the product. **
