The Chain Link Fence Double Gate Latch is a robust solution designed especially for metal gates, particularly those involved in residential applications. Customers appreciate the versatility of the latch, as it can be installed at different heights, which is beneficial for accommodating various breeds and sizes of dogs. Users report successful installations on chain link fences, citing its effectiveness in preventing dogs from escaping. However, there are some important Considerations to note. Some reviews mention that alignment during installation is crucial; if not done correctly, the latch will not close properly. Additionally, while it is regarded as well-made, a few users have pointed out that it might be more suited for larger, industrial gate systems than for standard backyard gates. Several reviewers acknowledged challenges, such as a defect in the product that required modifications to function correctly. However, many indicated they found ways to adapt the latch to make it work despite these issues. In summary, the Chain Link Fence Double Gate Latch appears to be a solid option for those needing a resistant and reliable latch for their gates, particularly in an environment with active pets or heavier use. While it offers strength and versatility, potential buyers should ensure proper installation and be aware that it may not be ideal for all backyard applications. **
