The Esschert Design SS1 Turtle Stepping Stone has generated a mix of responses from customers, generally leaning towards disappointment. While some users appreciate the cute and solid design, others have expressed frustration with the product's size and appearance. Many reviewers pointed out that the stepping stones are smaller than expected, questioning their practicality as garden decor. Additionally, there were numerous complaints regarding the color discrepancy, with items arriving significantly different from the photo—such as being more black than brown. Customers also reported issues with the finish, noting rust within just days of receiving them, which raises concerns about durability and quality. A few buyers attempted to repurpose the stones for other uses, like serving plates for hot pots, suggesting a lack of confidence in their intended purpose as stepping stones. Overall, despite some positive remarks about the design details, the overwhelming sentiment reflects dissatisfaction with quality control and misleading product representations. **
