Watco Bathtub Drains 38770-ABS-CP Editorial Review
The Watco 38770-ABS-CP Tl/Quick Adjust Trim Linkage Drop Cylinder has garnered a varied reception from customers, particularly with regard to its design and functionality. Many users have appreciated the quality of the hardware and the smooth operation of the trip lever, noting it outperforms some alternative options on the market. The installation process is generally described as straightforward, with customers finding it manageable even without formal instructions. Several users have opted to refer to online tutorials, underscoring the accessibility of the installation for both experienced DIYers and those who are less handy. However, not all feedback has been positive. A frequent concern arises from the fit of the provided plastic stopper, which some users found incompatible with older plumbing standards, necessitating modification for proper installation. In some cases, customers preferred to use their existing metal stoppers to ensure durability and fit. Additionally, there were comments about the aesthetic aspect of the product, particularly the bold 'WATCO' logo, which some deemed unattractive. Despite minor fit issues and cosmetic concerns, the performance of the Watco drop cylinder has generally been satisfying for most users, many of whom expressed a sense of accomplishment after completing the installation themselves. Overall, it appears to be a reliable choice for those looking to replace their old plumbing components. **
