Soman Universal 3-Snap Visor Retro Pilot-Style for Open Face Motorcycle Helmet (Deep Smoke)

The Soman Universal 3-Snap Visor, designed for open face motorcycle helmets, has garnered mixed reviews from customers regarding its fit, quality, and functionality. While some users appreciate its aesthetic and practical applications, such as effectively shielding eyes from wind, others encountered significant issues related to fit and durability. Several reviews highlighted that the visor might not be suitable for smaller helmet sizes, with one customer expressing disappointment as the visor was too large for their small-sized Bell helmet. This indicates that while the product claims to be "one size fits all," it may more accurately fit medium to large helmet sizes. On the positive side, users who had the correct size found that the visor fit perfectly and was easy to operate, with smooth flipping and no noticeable distortion, which enhanced their riding experience. A common complaint in reviews was regarding the quality of the snaps, with some users stating they were too loose, leading to the visor popping off with minimal movement. This raises concerns about long-term durability and reliability while riding. Additionally, a few riders noted that the heavy tint, although ideal for bright days, can cause visual distortion when riding into the sun, contrasting with other eye protection options that do not have this issue. Overall, it seems that the Soman visor can be a solid choice for some riders, particularly those with larger helmets, providing a functional compromise between goggles and full-face shields. However, potential buyers should carefully Consider their helmet size and the visor's fit to avoid dissatisfaction. **
