Sunlite Training Bike Pedals, 9/16"

**** The Sunlite Training Bike Pedals have garnered a mixed reception from customers, primarily highlighting their dual functionality to cater to both cycling enthusiasts and casual users. Many users appreciate the design featuring SPD clip compatibility on one side and rubber toe holders on the other, allowing flexibility for use with bike shoes or regular sneakers. This versatility has been particularly well-received by customers with various bike types, including indoor spin bikes and hybrid models. Installation of the pedals generally appears straightforward, even for those new to bicycle maintenance. Some users mentioned needing to apply extra force and attention, especially when tightening the left pedal due to its reverse threading. Overall, the ease of installation and adaptability have been praised. However, not all experiences have been positive. There have been significant concerns regarding the quality of the ball bearings, with multiple customers reporting rough performance that detracted from the riding experience. This roughness is described as feeling unusually coarse and reminiscent of poorly manufactured parts, leading to a disappointing user experience. Additionally, concerns regarding the durability of the pedals have been raised, with instances of bending observed within just a few months of regular use. Some customers have critiqued the inclusion of reflectors on the pedals, questioning their relevance for indoor cycling. These elements combined have led to a sentiment that while the pedals serve a basic purpose, their overall quality may be lacking, prompting a few users to seek out alternative options. In summary, while the Sunlite Training Bike Pedals provide a commendable dual-use feature and are generally easy to install, their rough performance and questionable durability have drawn Considerable criticism, making them a potentially subpar choice for serious cyclists. **
