Danco Faucet Handles 80020 Editorial Review
The Danco 80020 Universal Metal Diverter Canopy Handle has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a diverse range of experiences with its installation and functionality. Several users have found the handle to be a solid replacement for outdated or difficult-to-find faucet handles, praising its compatibility with other Danco products, particularly the Chrome Danco 80019 Tub/Shower Handles. It has been well-received for its durability and aesthetic appeal as a replacement for flimsy acrylic handles. However, installation challenges appear to be a common theme. Some users struggled with fitting the diverter handle onto their shower diverter stems, pointing out issues such as mismatched sizes and inadequate screw lengths provided in the package. These users also highlighted that in some cases, the handle was either too deep or too long, necessitating adjustments such as trimming with tools to achieve a proper fit. Despite these difficulties, many customers were eventually able to make it work, often utilizing existing screws or creative solutions to overcome the hurdles presented during installation. In contrast, other reviews pointed out that the handle simply did not fit their specific shower setup, leading to returns. Ultimately, while the Danco 80020 can serve as an effective upgrade for some, it may not be universally compatible, contrary to the advertised claims. **
