Answer: Flex Glue is designed to bond a variety of surfaces including concrete, brick, pavers, and even rubber. This versatility allows it to be used in diverse applications such as sealing pools or repairing outdoor furniture. Its rubberized formula ensures flexibility and durability once cured, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. -
Question:
Is Flex Glue truly waterproof?
Answer: Yes, Flex Glue is waterproof and can even work underwater. This makes it ideal for repairing and sealing swimming pools, hot tubs, and outdoor fixtures exposed to moisture. By forming a strong bond that withstands water exposure, it offers peace of mind for any aquatic repairs you may need. -
Question:
How does Flex Glue handle extreme weather conditions?
Answer: Flex Glue is formulated to withstand harsh weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, without losing its bonding strength. This UV-resistant feature ensures that it won't degrade or weaken under sunlight, making it perfect for outdoor projects that are exposed to the elements. -
Question:
Can I apply Flex Glue on wet surfaces?
Answer: Absolutely! Flex Glue can be applied on wet surfaces, which is a unique feature compared to many other adhesives. This capability allows you to make repairs in wet conditions, such as fixing leaks or sealing gaps in areas that are continually exposed to water. -
Question:
How long does Flex Glue take to fully cure?
Answer: Flex Glue typically sets quickly, allowing for handling within minutes; however, it requires approximately 24 to 48 hours to achieve full strength. It's important to avoid disturbing the bond during this curing period, especially for structural repairs. Following this time frame ensures maximum durability and reliability. -
Question:
Can I use Flex Glue for indoor projects?
Answer: Yes, Flex Glue is safe for indoor use as well. Its transparent finish allows for aesthetic applications, such as arts and crafts, while providing a robust bond for household repairs. Whether you're mending a vase or fixing a leaky sink, this adhesive proves useful in various indoor scenarios. -
Question:
Is Flex Glue suitable for automotive repairs?
Answer: While Flex Glue is primarily intended for household and outdoor projects, it can be used for certain automotive repairs. Its strong adhesive properties make it suitable for bonding parts that are not under significant stress. However, it's recommended to check compatibility before using it on critical automotive components. -
Question:
Does Flex Glue remain flexible after curing?
Answer: Yes, once cured, Flex Glue maintains its flexibility, allowing it to absorb shocks and vibrations. This property is especially beneficial for applications that involve movement, such as joints in outdoor furniture or pool edges, ensuring that repairs last longer without cracking or breaking. -
Question:
What is the best way to apply Flex Glue?
Answer: For optimal results, it's recommended to apply Flex Glue with a caulking gun for precision. Start by cleaning the surface to remove dirt, dust, or grease.
