Rigdance Camera Mounts & Clamps 1011 Editorial Review

**** The Articulating Magic Arm Camera Field Monitor Mount has garnered a generally favorable reception among users, appreciated for its robust Construction and functionality. Many reviewers highlight its significant improvement over previous smaller and less stable designs, with several praising the solid all-metal body that lends a sense of durability and quality. The arm provides a smooth and fluid motion for adjustments, making it an essential piece of gear for mounting video monitors, camera cages, or lights. However, users have noted some areas for improvement. The non-metallic components, particularly the rubber O-rings, raise concerns about their long-term durability, especially under heavy load. Although replacement O-rings are provided, questions linger about their lifespan. Additionally, the knurled knob, while functional, could use more torque for optimal tightening, and the cushions that separate the knob from the mounted equipment are prone to damage. The design of the mount screws has also garnered mixed feedback, with some wishing for longer screw stems to enhance stability. Despite these critiques, the product is highly recommendable. Reviewers appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of a hard case for storage and the overall precision machining that suggests high-quality craftsmanship. At a budget-friendly price point, it stands out as a valuable tool for photographers and videographers alike, showcasing both practicality and performance. **
