AKG Multipurpose P820 TUBE Editorial Review
The AKG Pro Audio P820 Tube Condenser Microphone is a well-built, heavy-duty microphone that provides clean, smooth sound with a nice low end. It has a tube sound that gives the voice expression and character. Although it comes with a case, cords, remote control, and shock mount, some customers have experienced humming noise issues, and in some cases, the unit was damaged upon delivery. It seems that this microphone has recurring issues with humming noise, even right out of the box. Despite these problems, some customers recommend this microphone for its price and quality.
