PIC Flying Insect Trap, Chimnea-Style with UV + Flame Effect, Covers 1.5 Acre, Outdoor Fly Trap, Dusk 'Til Dawn Sensor, Weatherproof for Outdoor Use

The PIC Flame Effect Flying Insect Trap has garnered mixed reviews from customers, primarily focusing on its design and functionality. Many users are initially attracted to its sleek, modern aesthetic, which resembles a stylish potbelly stove and adds a decorative touch to outdoor spaces. The ambient lighting feature enhances the atmosphere during nighttime use, making it an appealing choice for patios and decks. However, despite its attractive design, the product has been criticized for its ineffectiveness in eliminating insects. Reviews indicate that while the trap does manage to attract some insects, many users found that the majority of them were not being killed but simply stunned, allowing them to continue flying about. This has led to a general Consensus that the device does not live up to its advertised capabilities, and for the price point, there are more effective alternatives available on the market. Another recurring issue in customer feedback is the subpar customer service. Several purchasers expressed frustration at their inability to reach out for support when they encountered problems with the product, compounding their dissatisfaction. While some users reported catching various insects—especially larger ones like moths—others noted that it was not as effective against smaller pests like mosquitoes. The design of the trap also drew criticism; some felt the inclusion of a fan detracted from its functionality, arguing that a more straightforward approach might have yielded better performance. In summary, while the PIC Flame Effect Flying Insect Trap shines in aesthetics, its poor insect elimination capabilities and lack of responsive customer service have led many to view it as an unsatisfactory product overall. **
