Ass Savers Fenders ASO-3-WHT Editorial Review
The Ass Savers SmartAss Bicycle Rain Fender has garnered mixed reviews from customers, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses in various cycling situations. Users appreciate the fender’s compact and discreet design, which serves as a lightweight alternative to traditional, bulky fenders. It effectively keeps riders somewhat dry during light rain, thus earning its place as a functional accessory for road cyclists who prefer minimalism. The ease of installation is frequently commended, with many users noting that it quickly attaches to the saddle rails, allowing cyclists to set off swiftly. However, the product is not without its criticisms. Several customers indicate that the fender underperforms in heavy rain and does not provide adequate coverage for riders positioned in a slipstream. Additionally, durability concerns arise regarding its Construction; while praised for its smart design, some users caution against folding the fender unnecessarily, as this may lead to cracks. There are also mentions of compatibility issues where the fender could impede brake functionality, depending on the bike setup. In summary, while the Ass Savers SmartAss Bicycle Rain Fender is lauded for its simple and effective design in light rain, users should be wary of its limitations and potential durability issues. **
