Rough Country HD Tie Rod Kit for 2011-2024 Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500HD - 11016

The Rough Country HD Tie Rod Kit for the 2011-2024 Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500HD has garnered a mixed reception among customers. On one hand, many users praise the product for its durability and noticeable improvement in steering performance, particularly for those engaging in off-road driving. The sturdiness of the tie rods is a highlight, with some customers noting that they serve as a worthy upgrade for their lifted trucks. However, the product has faced criticism due to fitment issues, specifically regarding compatibility with certain models, such as the 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500, where customers found significant discrepancies in size despite claims of compatibility. This discrepancy can lead to improper alignment issues, making it difficult to achieve a zero alignment, which is frustrating for users. Additionally, concerns have been raised about the longevity of certain components, particularly the boots, which users have reported failing within a relatively short period, despite the promise of a lifetime warranty that apparently only covers the steel parts. This has left some feeling that the product is not worth the investment, particularly if regular replacements are necessary. Overall, while the Rough Country HD Tie Rod Kit offers strength and improved handling for many users, potential buyers should be cautious about compatibility issues and the durability of non-metal components. **
