Nutritionist's Take
TheraTears Extra Dry Eye Therapy Lubricating Eye Drops and SteriLid Eyelid Cleanser are designed primarily for eye health rather than nutritional value. The eye drops contain sodium hyaluronate, which is known for its hydrating properties, making it beneficial for individuals suffering from dry eyes. The inclusion of preservative-free formulations may be advantageous for sensitivity. However, it's important to assess whether these products are suitable for individuals with specific allergies or sensitivities. The SteriLid cleanser, containing ingredients that help reduce inflammatory responses, works to soothe irritated eyes, but users should watch for any potential skin reactions. Overall, while these eye care products have specific benefits for dry or irritated eyes, they do not offer traditional nutritional benefits or contribute to dietary health, making them a specialized solution rather than a general health enhancer.
