TEMCo Industrial Crimpers TH0012 Editorial Review

The TEMCo Lug Crimper Tool TH0012-8 AWG - 0000 AWG40 DIELESS Indent Electrical Battery Terminal Cable Wire is a solidly built, chunky crimping tool. It is an excellent value for the price and is effective for crimping larger lugs. The tool is easy to use, especially with larger cables but is not suitable for smaller lugs. Some users have found the notch designed to rest the barrel of the lug in will not fit some 8 AWG lugs. Despite this issue, the product is overall well made and doesn't require any dies. The crimp ram has been off-center on some products, resulting in crooked crimps. However, this defect is covered by the product warranty. The tool is also reported to be very good for cable crimps and for installing lugs.
