While the meter can provide continuous monitoring of pH and temperature readings, it is not suitable for measuring pH in hot or boiling liquids. Additionally, it is not designed to handle continuous use with highly alkaline substances such as naoh (caustic soda), which has a very high pH value. The backlit screen of the meter is reported to be either blue or green.
