Polaris Pressure Pool Cleaners F3 Editorial Review
Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 Complete The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 Complete is a popular choice among customers looking for a reliable pool cleaner. It is praised for its ability to thoroughly clean the pool, including the bottom surface and walls. The cleaner has enough power to pick up sediment and even decent-sized leaves, reducing the need for manual brushing and debris removal. However, there are some quality issues with the product. Some customers experienced problems with a cracked wall connector and a leaking rear float. While Zodiac, the manufacturer, promptly replaced these parts, it is noted that their quality assurance needs improvement. These issues could be frustrating for those who are not familiar with the product and do not have spare parts on hand. The installation process is relatively straightforward, but adjustments are necessary for the cleaner to work properly. Customers need to cut the tubing to the correct length, use the right size restrictor plate on the feeder hose opening, and adjust the floaters and jet. This process can be time-Consuming and requires frequent tweaking. Another drawback is the feeder hose, which tends to become tangled. The joints in the hose do not rotate enough to keep it straight, a design flaw that has not been addressed in both older and newer models. Additionally, the feeder hose is made of cheaper material, leading to leaks after a short period of use. This is disappointing, especially Considering that the previous hose lasted over a decade. Despite these issues, customers still recommend the Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 Complete. It is praised for its performance in cleaning the pool and is particularly favored by those who have the necessary infrastructure to support the cleaner. The price is noted to be on the higher side compared to other models, but customers feel that the quality justifies the cost.
