Monoprice Home Office Desks 134827 Editorial Review
**** The L-shaped standing desk has garnered a generally positive reception from customers who appreciate its sturdy Construction and value for money. Many users commend the heavy-duty steel parts and the ease of assembly, noting that the desk meets or exceeds expectations at its price point. The quiet operation of the motors is a standout feature, especially enjoyable for those who frequently switch between sitting and standing. Customers using personalized countertops, such as butcher blocks, reported a solid feel to the desk as they found it functional for multiple devices, offering ample space for monitors and laptops. However, some users raised concerns about stability, particularly when the desk is fully extended. A notable issue identified is the slight wobble during use, especially when objects placed on it are heavier than average or when users rest their arms while typing. Issues with the fitment of the leg glides were also mentioned, indicating that this could contribute to its wobbly behavior. While the desk claims to support up to 300 lbs, some users cautioned that weight distribution matters significantly, as high weights can induce additional movement. Additionally, the absence of anti-collision features has flagged concerns for those using chairs under their desks. Despite these concerns, the overall Consensus remains positive, with many customers encouraging Prospective buyers to Consider this desk as an excellent alternative to pricier models, especially when purchased on sale. **
