API Aquarium Water Treatments 36C Editorial Review
API Propper pH 7.0 is a pH stabilizer designed specifically for freshwater aquariums that require a pH of 7.0. The product is safe for biological filters and does not harm fish if added properly. However, API does not recommend using this product with live aquarium plants as it can bind to necessary trace elements they need as nutrients. Customers have had mixed experiences with this product. Some have found it to be effective and easy to use, while others have had negative experiences such as the product expiring or causing cloudy water or other issues. Some customers have also mentioned receiving the product without a seal or scoop, which raised concerns. Overall, API Propper pH 7.0 can be a helpful product for freshwater aquarium owners who need to stabilize their pH at 7.0, but caution is advised and attention should be paid to expiration dates, package defects, and the specific needs of the aquarium's inhabitants.
