ThinkFun Math Dice

The ThinkFun Math Dice Fun Game is an engaging and educational game that teaches mental math skills to children aged 8 and up. It is a great hands-on way for kids to learn simple mental math for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. The game requires players to find the answer on the spot using their brain power, which helps improve their math skills without relying on calculators or electronic devices. One positive aspect of this game is that it keeps both kids and adults sharp. It is not only enjoyable for children, but also provides a challenge for adults. The game is quick to play and the return on investment is great, making it a worthwhile purchase. If you have multiple children of different ages, it is recommended to purchase both the Math Dice and Math Dice Jr. sets. The Math Dice requires two 12-sided dice, while the Jr. version only includes one die. Additionally, the Math Dice Jr. set requires three dice with numbers 1, 2, and 3, which are not included in the regular Math Dice set. Buying both sets ensures that all children can participate and enjoy the game. The game can be played with multiple players, with up to approximately 5 people being a good maximum number. More players could potentially participate, but it may become crowded around the set of dice. The game includes 5 chips for advancing on a small board, and each player moves as many spaces as the number of dice used to come up with the total. This encourages more complex equations as children's math skills improve. The goal of the game is to be the first one to reach the end of the board. In terms of age recommendation, the Math Dice Jr. set is recommended for ages 6 and up, while the regular Math Dice set is suitable for children aged 8 and up. However, younger children can also enjoy the game as long as they stick to addition only. The game provides a fun and stress-free way for kids to practice math skills. Overall, the ThinkFun Math Dice Fun Game is a highly recommended educational game that promotes mental math skills in a fun and engaging way. It is a great investment for parents and teachers looking to enhance children's math abilities.
