This Aleko motorized half cassette awning is a great value for the price, however, it is not easy to install. The installation process requires a significant level of detail that is missing from the instructions and online videos, including bracket and motor orientation. Assembling and mounting the awning can take a day and a half and requires two people to lift and adjust the unit. The written instructions do not match the model of the unit and the video instructions are outdated. The product is adjustable and should function well when correctly installed. The awning is equipped with a wind and light sensor, which customers describe as a great addition to the product. The product comes in a variety of colors including multistripe yellow. The product works well once installed and customer service has been described as helpful. However, for an average person, installation is too complicated.
