DEXTER AXLE Accessories Editorial Review
The Dexter 00510100 Axle Tang Washer is a small, but essential component to locking your axle spindle nut on Dexter 3500 lb axles. It has a 1" inner diameter and a 1 9/16" outer diameter, and must be placed on the spindle before the nut is installed. Once the nut is on and adjusted, one of the tabs on the washer must be bent into the notch in the nut to lock it in place. Several customers have noted that the product description is a bit misleading, as only one washer is included in the package even though the ad shows two. Despite this, customers have found the washer to be effective at its job and a necessary component for a properly functioning axle.
