Lookout Board Games LK0117 Editorial Review
The Cantaloop Book 1: Breaking into Prison is a point-and-click game turned into a book. It has humorous characters and witty banter, but at times it can feel a bit dry with few clues and dead ends. The book is well thought out and could take several hours to complete depending on the player's smarts. It is easy to help yourself via the hints section. The format is great for parents to play with their children. The book is delicate and care must be taken turning the pages. Some of the humor is crass, so it may not be suitable for everyone. Overall, Cantaloop Book 1 is a unique concept that is worth trying, especially for those who love the old-school Myst and Escape from Monkey Island games.
