The Schumacher FR01237 is a fully automatic battery charger, engine starter, and maintainer suited for tractors, cars, trucks, SUVs, marine, and RV batteries. It does not have an auto shut off feature and uses a 15-volt charge for desulfation instead of high-frequency voltage spikes. This charger cannot operate on 240 volts 50Hz and cannot be shipped to California due to energy efficiency regulations. It can charge the battery while connected to the vehicle. The charger has different settings for small and large batteries, as well as for 6-volt and 12-volt batteries. It automatically selects the charging amps based on the battery size. The Schumacher FR01237 uses a transformer with processor control technology.
