Molykote Industrial Lubricants 2708493 Editorial Review
MOLYKOTE BG 20 High Performance Synthetic Grease 5.3OZ is designed for critical applications such as fans, spindles, and generators, providing exceptional lubrication under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. Despite its outstanding performance, some users have noted that it can be quite thick initially, requiring a burn-in period to improve friction and functionality. While many appreciate its durability and long-lasting properties, the pungent smell has drawn criticism, especially for those using it in living spaces. Overall, it meets several specifications including being NLGI 2 compliant and suitable for slow-speed bearings, making it a strong choice for serious users, albeit with the caveat of its aroma.
