Electro-Harmonix Distortion & Overdrive LESTER-K Editorial Review
The Electro-Harmonix Lester K Stereo Rotary Speaker Pedal has garnered mixed reviews from users. Some praise its ability to accurately simulate the Leslie speaker sound, especially when paired with a keyboard, while others find it underwhelming, particularly when used with certain instruments like the Roland VK-8. One user appreciates the ability to recreate the familiar sound of a Leslie speaker without the hassle of moving a physical cabinet, while another notes that it revitalized their Korg CX-3's sound. However, a keyboard user expressed dissatisfaction with the purchase, stating that it didn't improve the sound of their clone wheel keyboard. Overall, the pedal seems to be well-liked for its ability to add depth and presence to the Leslie simulation, best utilized with a setup involving left and right speakers. It's also noted to produce a big stereo sound when used with a guitar. However, it's important to Consider the instrument being paired with the pedal, as its effectiveness varies depending on the specific keyboard or organ model.
