The AEM AE-20993 Dryflow Air Filter has garnered a mix of positive feedback and some minor critiques from customers who have installed it in various Ford Focus models. Many users appreciate the filter’s ease of installation and its reusable nature, as it allows them to save on costs associated with traditional paper filters. Customers have noted that the AEM filter fits well in the airbox with minimal effort, and it often brings a slight improvement in engine sound, giving a more sporty growl without being overly loud or annoying. Several reviews highlight the durability and long-lasting features of the AEM filter, with users indicating their satisfaction with the product's performance over extended periods. Some drivers have reported slight improvements in fuel efficiency, though opinions vary on this. There are some concerns, however. A portion of the customer base did not observe significant improvements in horsepower or torque, and some felt that the filter did not deliver the expected gains in fuel economy.
