Meinl Percussion Hi-Hat B14EQH Editorial Review
The Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Dual hi-hats are a beautiful looking and sounding pair of cymbals. The hi-hats are versatile and can be used for jazz, rock, pop and blues. They are lathed at the bottom and raw at the top, which gives them a unique sound. The weight of each hi-hat varies since they are hand hammered. They are soft on the ears and have a noticeable chick sound when closed, and a warm, slightly trashy tone when open. These hi-hats are also responsive and versatile in a loud rock setting without being grating or overly washy. Overall, these hi-hats are some of the best hi-hats that customers have ever played.
