Palram - Canopia Roof Vent Kit for Sun Room, White

The Rion Sun Room 2 Roof Vent has garnered mixed reviews from customers, with many expressing significant disappointment regarding its quality and functionality. While the product fits well as an added feature to existing structures, such as greenhouses, several users criticized its overall design—particularly pointing to issues with the vent's hinges and sealing effectiveness. Customers cited that the vent often fails under relatively low wind conditions, with the mechanism not robust enough to withstand even moderate gusts. Some reviewers labeled it a critical flaw that transforms what should be a helpful component into a detrimental one, capable of compromising the usability of an otherwise satisfactory sunroom. The comments reflect a common theme of frustration with the design: the vent does not effectively retain heat and is poorly secured, leading to frequent problems when exposed to wind. Additionally, customers are calling for Rion/Palram to address these design flaws promptly, as many feel the product could otherwise enhance their sunroom experience if not for these significant issues. In summary, while the Rion Sun Room 2 Roof Vent may serve a purpose within the sunroom design, its engineering seems to fail, leaving users dissatisfied and disillusioned. **
