Tekonsha 2028 Shur-Set III Breakaway System with Battery, Breakaway Switch and Charger
The Tekonsha 2028 Shur-Set III Breakaway System is a decent product that comes with a battery, breakaway switch and charger. The product works as intended, however, depending on the size of the round post going through the metal bracket, the bolt may not hold the unit very tight. Some users have drilled two more holes through the bracket and installed a u-bolt to make it more secure. The product makes it easier to check the battery during times the trailer is not used very much versus the original battery box which required to remove two u-bolts to check the battery.
