What does the Torque PAIR Headlight and Fog Light Set include?

The Torque PAIR Headlight and Fog Light Set includes both the driver left side and passenger right side assemblies, designed specifically for 2004-2018 Volvo VNL VN semi trucks. Each set comes equipped with DOT and SAE certifications, ensuring they meet the rigorous safety and performance standards. This makes them a reliable choice for both replacement and upgrade, providing clear visibility on the road, especially in low-light conditions or adverse weather.

Are these lights compatible with all Volvo VNL VN models?

Yes, the Torque PAIR Headlight and Fog Light Set is specifically designed to be compatible with all Volvo VNL VN models manufactured from 2004 to 2018. This targeted compatibility ensures that the assembly fits perfectly, making installation straightforward without the need for additional modifications or adapters, thus enhancing functionality and maintaining original aesthetic appeal.

How do I install the Torque headlight and fog light set?

Installation of the Torque headlight and fog light set is generally a straightforward procedure. It typically involves removing the old light assemblies, disconnecting the wiring harnesses, and then connecting the new lights. Proper alignment ensures optimal performance. Always refer to the vehicle's user manual for specific instructions related to your truck model, as it can vary. This set allows for quick upgrades in case of burnt-out lights while enhancing road safety.

What materials are used in the construction of these headlights and fog lights?

The Torque headlight and fog light assemblies are manufactured using high-quality materials that ensure durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions. Polycarbonate lenses are used to provide clarity and withstand impacts, while robust housing ensures longevity against vibrations typical in semi-truck operations. This material combination is important for truck operators who frequently encounter demanding driving conditions, thereby enhancing the overall driving experience.

Can I use LED bulbs with this light set?

Yes, the Torque headlight and fog light set is compatible with LED bulbs, allowing for enhanced visibility and energy efficiency. Upgrading to LED can significantly improve lighting performance and longevity compared to standard halogen bulbs. This is particularly beneficial when driving at night or in severe weather conditions, where visibility is critical for safety on the road.

How can I ensure the best performance from my headlight and fog light set?

To ensure optimal performance from your headlight and fog light set, regular maintenance checks are essential. This includes cleaning the lenses to remove dirt and debris, which can obscure light output. Additionally, ensure that the assemblies are properly aligned so that light is directed correctly. Proper aim of your headlights enhances visibility for yourself and others on the road, which is especially crucial during long hauls.

What type of beam pattern can I expect from the Torque light set?

The Torque headlight and fog light set features a focused beam pattern designed to provide excellent forward illumination, which is critical for night driving. The fog lights are engineered to produce a wide, low beam, reducing glare while illuminating the road close to the vehicle. This dual functionality allows for enhanced visibility during various driving conditions, meeting the diverse needs of truck drivers.

Is the light set DOT and SAE certified?

Yes, the Torque PAIR Headlight and Fog Light Set is both DOT and SAE certified, assuring users that they meet stringent safety and performance standards. These certifications are crucial for ensuring that the lights are legal for road use and will perform reliably in different conditions. This makes the product a trustworthy choice for truck drivers who prioritize safety and compliance.

What should I do if my new lights are not working?

If your new Torque headlight and fog light set isn't working, first check to ensure that the wiring harnesses are properly connected and that all fuses related to the lighting system are intact. Sometimes, loose connections can lead to performance issues. If everything appears connected correctly and there are no blown fuses, consider consulting a professional mechanic for further diagnosis, as there could be an underlying electrical issue. This way, you can ensure that your lighting system is functioning correctly for safe travels.

The TORQUE Black Headlights and Fog Lights Set is a budget-friendly option for Volvo VNL VN Trucks. The headlights are made in China and have a low beam of h11 and a high beam of 9005. They are compatible with various Volvo models, including the 2012 Volvo VNL 730 and the 2011 Volvo VNL 300 daycab. However, there have been some issues reported by customers. Some customers found that the unit was smaller and had a gap when installing, with the rubber around the unit being off. Additionally, some customers experienced broken inside pieces and water leakage during the water test. There were also complaints about the size and fitment of the headlights, with one customer receiving a damaged headlight. On the positive side, customers found the headlights to be bright and easy to install.
