The unit comes with a pigtail and butt connectors in case there's any damage to the existing one. The sensor is easy to install and, according to one reviewer, solved their car starting issues instantly. However, one reviewer noted that the sensor resistance vs temperature was not correct for the 1998 Jaguar XK8. The Walker Product Connector didn't fit properly for another customer, causing inconvenience.
