Braeburn Programmable 2020NC Editorial Review
The Braeburn 2020NC Thermostat is generally received with mixed feelings by customers, showcasing both positive and negative experiences. Many users appreciate the straightforward installation process, noting that the instructions are clear enough for individuals with basic technical skills. The feature of being able to play with the device's settings before installation is a plus, as it allows for familiarization without the immediate need for wiring. Additionally, the simple display and the ability to program temperature limits according to the schedule are highlighted as beneficial. However, the thermostat is not without its drawbacks. Some users encountered issues, such as the device malfunctioning with particular HVAC systems, leading to problems like continuous running without proper regulation. A few customers had disappointing experiences with the product deviating from their programming, indicating potential concerns with reliability. Moreover, it's worth noting that the thermostat is not compatible with electric baseboard heating, limiting its applicability for certain users. Overall, while many find value in the energy savings potential and usability, others suggest caution, particularly in relation to compatibility with different HVAC systems and certain operational issues. **
