The Black Diamond Distance Z Trekking Poles are a highly recommended purchase for trekkers. They are sturdy, easy to collapse and pack away, and provide good comfort during use. The poles come with both plastic and metal tips which are interchangeable, but the baskets are permanently attached. They are available in different lengths suitable for different people. They have loops made of half-mesh that are both comfortable and removable. The aluminum version is very light and does not have much difference from the carbon version, except that it is more cost-effective. It is one of the lightest trekking poles that can support a moderate level of abuse.
