Weidmuller STRIPAX Ultimate Cable Stripper STRIPAX 1468880000

The Weidmüller STRIPAX Ultimate Cable Stripper promises effortless and reliable cable stripping for a variety of wires commonly found in residential and control cabinet applications. However, customer experiences and reviews indicate that the product falls short of expectations. Many users reported difficulties in getting the stripper to effectively strip various wires, including solid THHN insulation and stranded wires with different insulation materials. In most cases, the tool failed to remove the insulation completely or didn't strip it at all. Despite attempting all the provided adjustments, users struggled to achieve satisfactory results. While the tool is widely used by technicians in Europe without complaints, some users expressed frustration at its poor performance. The instruction manual warns that the tool's effectiveness may vary due to factors such as insulation materials and non-harmonized AWG wires. However, this doesn't offer much comfort or assurance to users who expected better results. In addition to the performance issues, one user discovered that the cutting edges of the stripper were already damaged upon closer inspection. This suggests a possible issue with the quality or delivery of the product. Overall, the Weidmüller STRIPAX Ultimate Cable Stripper seems to have had mixed results for users. Some found it to be a great tool, praising its quality and ease of use, while others described it as ineffective and a waste of money. The product may work well for certain applications, but its performance inConsistencies and reported durability issues raise concerns.
