LoopTone LP Vinyl Turntables Tachometer Disc and Strobe Light,Profesional Speed Test Disk for Record Calibration and Rotational Speed Detection

The LoopTone LP Vinyl Turntables Tachometer Disc and Strobe Light has received a mixed yet generally positive reception from customers who appreciate its core functionality. Many users admire the powerful strobe light, which illuminates effectively and offers a choice between 50Hz and 60Hz settings. This feature allows for compatibility with various strobe discs, enhancing its versatility on different turntables. Users highlighted that the strobe's brightness significantly outperforms older neon lights, making it a favorable option for speed calibration. While the strobe itself is well-regarded, the accompanying calibration disc has drawn criticisms for its small size, which many users find makes it difficult to use for accurate speed detection. The tight fit on the turntable spindle has also been a source of frustration, as it can be challenging to remove and place the disc. Some users have pointed out that the markings are hard to read, particularly for those needing to track speed variations with precision. Despite these criticisms regarding the disc, many customers still believe the overall value of the kit justifies the purchase, especially Considering that the strobe light alone often costs more elsewhere. Some users appreciate the smaller disc since it allows for checking the speed during playback, a feature not available with larger discs, which adds a layer of convenience. In summary, the LoopTone kit serves its intended purpose well, particularly the strobe light, making it a solid purchase for vinyl enthusiasts looking to maintain their turntables. However, potential buyers should be prepared for limitations with the calibration disc. **
