LHS Manual Grinders 171002 Editorial Review
### LHS Coffee Grinder The LHS Coffee Grinder impresses users with its sturdy stainless steel Construction and efficient ceramic conical burr system, providing a significant upgrade over typical blade grinders. Many customers have praised its well-crafted design, noting the absence of rough edges or metal flashing, which enhances the overall user experience when grinding coffee. The ease of cleaning is another highlight, making maintenance straightforward. Shifted from electric grinders, some users find manual grinding an enlightening experience, although it can be a workout. The four distinct grind settings - fine, fine-medium, medium-coarse, and coarse - yield a variety of results, but opinions vary on their suitability for different brewing methods. While the grinder excels in producing a uniform grind for pour-over and French press applications, some users report less satisfaction using it for Turkish coffee or Moka pots, claiming it can create a gritty texture. One common criticism revolves around the size of the grinder's burrs, which may not perform as well for larger batches or harder coffee beans. The longer grinding time—up to six minutes for a pour-over for two—can dissuade those in a hurry. Furthermore, some users have reported issues with the plastic stabilizers in the mechanism, which can lead to noise or even compromise the grinder's functionality if not addressed promptly. Overall, the LHS Coffee Grinder is a commendable choice for those seeking a budget-friendly grinder for daily coffee brewing without the concerns of excessive fines. It serves well for casual coffee aficionados looking to explore manual grinding methods while producing high-quality coffee grounds. ####
