The cap is made with a waterproof nylon exterior and lined with PEVA, a biodegradable alternative to vinyl that is naturally mold resistant. Additionally, the elastic is covered with a shiny fabric casing, making it very comfortable, and no elastic is exposed. The shower cap is also easy to clean - simply wash in cold water, no bleach, and tumble dry low or air dry. According to customer feedback, the shower cap is large enough for thick curly hair and keeps hair dry in the shower.
