Kato 22-018-1 Editorial Review
Kato USA's Power Pack Standard SX is a device that converts household AC power supply into DC for model railroads while controlling the running of vehicles. This power pack has a voltage output of 12-16V at 1.2 amps and is perfect for running Kato or Hobby train locomotives and trains. It also allows the interior lights to turn on without any forward motion. Compatible with N and HO scale models, the power pack requires the purchase of a separate AC adapter to power the model. Customer experience and reception: Many customers have criticized the product's description for not clarifying that it does not come with a power transformer. One customer mentioned it should be a $25 product, although it covers the product's primary use adequately. Other customers have praised the product's reliability and ease of use.
